Brooks is now eight months old. He rolls over from front to back and back to front with both ease and speed. In fact, he rolls so quickly that he will probably start rolling off of beds here pretty soon. He has not yet mastered how to come from a laying down position to a sitting position, though he is trying. He gets about halfway up before just stopping to lay on his stomach. While sitting he stays up with no problem. He doesn't tip and hasn't accidentally fallen over in quite some time.
A little over a week ago he started crouching in crawling position. He has almost mastered freezing on all fours, but then he drops down and army crawls. Just yesterday we noticed a significant increase in army crawling speed...so again, he might be army crawling his way off of beds if we're not careful.
He's in size 3 diapers, wears size 6-12 months in clothes and still fits in those that are specifically 9 months...but maybe not for too much longer. Most shirts fit just fine, but pants are a different story. The length is good, but the waist is huge. We could have a potential sagger on our hands, but not an intentional one. He's just kind of skinny.
He never took to baby food so he eats mashed up regular food, yogurt, and apple sauce...but he's not a huge apple sauce fan yet. He has his two bottom teeth and that's it, but the top two are looking a little swollen. He smiles all the time, laughs more at night than any other time of day, and might be the cutest, sweetest baby that ever lived.
Now for a sweet, little picture:

of Keith.
CAN YOU BELIEVE IT??? Holy moley they look similar. When I saw this I seriously couldn't believe how much they look alike. Keith doesn't look this much like Brooks in most of his baby pictures, but this one is crazy similar. Add the Foster squint to this and I think they could pass as twins.

Can't wait to see if Brooks gets some curls like his daddy did!!! This picture still amazes me when I see how much Brooks favors Keith at this age ....Tell Brooks Gramps and Grammy will see him soon!!!
The Foster squint...I love it. SOOO true. Love you, Judy!
